By Christina Sirakoff City of Port Phillip will be changing from 3 wards to 9 wards for the 2024 Council elections but will still have nine councillors representing the community. There will now be one councillor per ward. In each ward, the candidate who receives at least 51% of the votes as either first preference votes or with preferences from other candidates will be elected as the new Councillor.If you are an existing resident ratepayer for the City of Port Phillip, you are automatically on the electoral roll to vote at the upcoming October 2024 Local Government elections.
